AgentKey is a data-access layer for AI agents. It gives an agent live access to publicly available data from search engines, web pages, social platforms, financial feeds and marketplaces through a single MCP connection.
The company is clear about what it is not. AgentKey is not the model and not the agent. Users bring their own agent, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Windsurf, and AgentKey supplies the outside data that agent needs to answer questions about the current state of the world.
The pitch is consolidation. Instead of signing up with each data provider, managing separate keys and paying separate bills, a user holds one AgentKey account with one credit balance that covers every supported service.
A user creates an account at agentkey.app, and a key appears in the console right away. After subscribing or topping up, the user gives the agent an install command. The pricing page shows a curl-based install script, and the homepage describes a one-line plugin install for Claude Code and similar tools.
On first use, AgentKey prompts for the key and checks the connection. From then on the agent can call search, extraction, social, finance and other data routes through the same connection, with usage drawn from one credit balance.
AgentKey also acts as a router. The homepage shows a diagram in which one search provider is active, another is down and a third stands by. When a source has problems, the request moves to another route, so the agent does not stop with a message that it cannot open a page.
The homepage lists 54 services in eight groups: Search (6), Extract (3), Social Media (21), Finance (8), E-commerce (11), Business (1), Jobs (2) and Academic (2). Search includes Brave Search, Tavily, Serper, Perplexity, Parallel and Exa. Extract includes Firecrawl, Jina and Bright Data.
Social coverage is wide and includes X/Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Telegram and several China-focused platforms such as Weibo, Zhihu, Bilibili and WeChat. Finance covers Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, Alpha Vantage, parsed SEC filings, World Bank and Eurostat data.
Other capabilities include e-commerce data from Amazon, Taobao, Shopee and others, Crunchbase company and funding data, job listings, and academic sources such as alphaXiv and AMiner. The pricing page cites 1,800+ live data sources overall.

AgentKey has a free plan and paid Lite, Pro and Max plans, each with a monthly credit balance. Billing is monthly or annual, with annual saving up to 25%. The source pages do not state the dollar price of each plan.

The homepage lists Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, OpenClaw, Hermes, Antigravity and Warp. The FAQ says Claude Code is ready today and more assistants are rolling out.
No, according to the site. You create an account, paste the install command, and the agent walks through the prompts, including where to paste your key.

A credit is the unit AgentKey uses to measure API usage. Different tools can consume different amounts depending on the provider, data source and request type.
Paid subscribers can upgrade their plan or buy extra credits, which are one-time add-ons that last longer than monthly credits. Free users cannot buy extra credits.
