What is Calcupedia?

Calcupedia is a library of 2,502 free calculators and converters that website owners can embed on their own pages. Categories include finance, health and fitness, math, business, real estate, unit conversion, date and time, and dozens more. Every calculator is free to use on the Calcupedia site without an account.

The second half of the product is aimed at site owners, bloggers and businesses. Each calculator can be styled to match a brand, embedded with a short snippet, and used to capture leads. Calcupedia is run by ECOMDIMES LTD in London and was started by founder Odeh Ahwal with his wife, Reina Maamari.

How does Calcupedia work?

The process has three steps: pick, customize, embed. You choose a calculator from the library, such as an ROI, mortgage or BMI calculator, or browse by category. The site also describes an AI builder, marked as coming soon, that would generate a calculator from a written description.

Customization happens in a live preview. You adjust theme, accent color, radius, width and padding, choose a content breakdown or summary, and pick inline or modal display. Then you copy a snippet made of a div with the calculator slug and a script tag, and paste it into your page.

Key features of Calcupedia

The core feature is the library itself, with 2,400+ templates available even on the Free plan. Styling controls go beyond colors, and the embed works on WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, Framer and code-based sites such as React and Next.js without a plugin.

Business features sit on top. An analytics dashboard is included on every plan, and the homepage mentions view, impression and completion tracking. Creator and Agency plans add email-gated results, webhook and CRM delivery to tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp and Zapier, and removal of the Calcupedia badge, with no per-lead charge.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Large library of 2,502 free calculators and converters across more than 30 categories.
  • Free plan is permanent, not a trial, and includes one active embed with analytics and full styling.
  • Embed takes one snippet and needs no plugin, with a live preview before publishing.
  • Entry paid pricing is low: $1 per month per active embed, with no per-lead fees.
  • Lead capture can send data to HubSpot, Mailchimp, Zapier or any webhook.

Cons

  • Lead capture, webhooks and branding removal require the $9.99 Creator plan or higher.
  • The AI calculator builder is marked as coming soon, so it cannot be relied on yet.
  • The site says the embed loads in an iframe, so its content is not crawled as part of the host page.
  • The site shows a small user base (5 people), so there is little public track record.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Calcupedia?

Calcupedia is a library of 2,502 free calculators and converters that website owners can embed on their own sites. Embeds can be styled to match a brand and, on paid plans, used to capture leads.

How much does Calcupedia cost?

Free costs $0 for one active embed. Growth is $1 per month per active embed, Creator is $9.99 per month, and Agency is $19.99 per month. A yearly option is advertised as 2 months free.

Does Calcupedia have a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan is described as free forever, not a trial. It includes one active embed, the full template library, styling, an analytics dashboard, and a Powered by Calcupedia badge.

Do I need to know how to code to use Calcupedia?

No. You pick a calculator, customize it in a live preview, and copy one snippet into your site. The process works for anyone who can paste code into a page.

What does Calcupedia integrate with?

Embeds work on WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, Framer, React, Next.js and hand-coded sites. Lead data can go to HubSpot, Mailchimp, Zapier and other tools through webhooks.

Can I remove the Calcupedia branding?

Yes, on the Creator plan and above. Agency adds full white-label branding. The site also says Growth embeds need no badge, though one FAQ answer groups Growth with Free as showing it.

Who owns the leads captured by an embed?

The site owner does. Lead capture is opt-in per embed, submissions go to your dashboard, and Calcupedia says it never sells or reuses visitor data. There is no charge per lead.

What happens if I cancel a paid plan?

Embeds keep working until the end of the billing period, then revert to Free plan limits: one active embed with branding shown. Nothing is deleted, but paid features such as lead capture stop.
