ConductExam is an online examination platform built by Conduct Exam Technologies LLP (a product of R K Infotech), headquartered in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, with a branch office in New Delhi. It is aimed at educational institutions (schools, coaching centres, colleges and universities), government and PSU bodies, corporates running recruitment or appraisal testing, and educational publishers who need to create, proctor, and analyze exams.

Beyond a standard web-based exam builder, ConductExam offers a broader set of testing formats: computer-based online and offline tests, centre-based test (CBT) setups for dedicated exam centres, and CD/USB-based tests that run without an internet connection, aimed at exams like competitive entrance tests. A synced Android/iOS mobile app lets test-takers start on the web and resume on a device, or vice versa. The vendor also sells adjacent business software (bulk cheque printing, a lead management system, a fees management system, a store/sales CRM) under the same company, though ConductExam itself is the flagship exam product.

On the exam-authoring side, admins can build multiple-choice, multiple-answer, fill-in-the-blank, true/false, essay, and matching-type questions, attach images, audio, video, or formulas, import questions in bulk, randomize test delivery, and set schedules and per-user availability windows. Proctoring and screen-lock features aim to reduce cheating, while reporting tools let admins compare results, export data, correct answers after the fact, award bonus marks, and auto-generate result certificates. The platform can be white-labeled with a client's own logo and theme and embedded into a client's own website, including selling paid tests through a third-party payment gateway.

Pricing is not published on the public site; ConductExam's own FAQ states pricing depends on the number of tests, the number and type of questions, the number of users, and the test duration, meaning prospective customers get a custom quote rather than a self-serve plan.

Key Features

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Covers more testing scenarios than typical web-only exam tools, with dedicated offline, centre-based (CBT), and CD/USB-based test modes for low- or no-internet environments.
  • Supports a wide range of question types (MCQ, multi-answer, fill-in-the-blank, essay, matching, image/audio/video/formula-based questions) plus bulk question import.
  • White-label branding and website embedding let coaching institutes and publishers sell and run tests under their own brand.
  • Synced Android and iOS apps let students save progress on the web and resume on mobile, or vice versa.

Cons

  • No public pricing, plans, or self-serve signup — pricing depends on number of tests, questions, users, and duration, and requires contacting sales for a quote.
  • Marketing site and FAQ content read as dated (e.g. its listed supported browsers include Internet Explorer 8+), with no visible changelog or product roadmap.
  • No named third-party integration list (e.g. specific LMS, SSO, or CRM platforms) beyond payment-gateway support for selling tests — teams with existing toolchains should confirm integration fit directly with the vendor.
  • No public case studies, review counts, or user testimonials beyond a generic client list, making it hard to independently verify reliability claims at scale.
