What is Fidelo?

Fidelo is web-based management software for language schools, training providers and language-travel agencies. Fidelo Software GmbH has developed it in Cologne, Germany, since 2005. It handles enquiries, bookings, scheduling, accommodation, invoicing and payments in one system, so staff do not need to move between separate tools for each task.

The product line has four editions. Fidelo School Travel serves study-abroad schools, Fidelo School Local serves local schools and course providers, Fidelo School Academy serves academies and seminar organizers, and Fidelo Agency serves agencies that sell trips and manage partner schools. The company reports more than 1,500 users across 100+ active installations in over 20 countries.

How does Fidelo work?

Fidelo runs in the browser and is organized around the student record. That record shows the course, accommodation, payment status, documents and the history of the booking in a single view, along with a timeline that accounts for holidays and breaks. Staff can filter and group bookings and apply bulk actions, such as sending invoices, documents and communication to many students at once.

Each installation is separate. Fidelo states that every customer has its own database and runs on an EU server, or on a server in the customer's own region for customers outside the EU. Every user picks an interface language from English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Turkish, so a mixed team can work in different languages on the same data.

Key features of Fidelo

For schools, Fidelo includes class scheduling, attendance, report cards, certificates, group bookings, exams, accommodation, transfers, insurance and activities. Fidelo School Local drops the study-abroad elements and focuses on course planning, online registration, partial invoices and corporate clients as invoice recipients. Recent updates added AI booking capture, KPIs for every role and a sales pipeline in the CRM.

For agencies, Fidelo Agency manages partner schools and their price lists, calculates commissions automatically and supports multi-currency accounting with daily exchange rates. On the finance side, Fidelo produces invoices, proformas and partial invoices, and offers e-invoicing add-ons for Germany, France, Italy and Spain, including XRechnung, Factur-X and Verifactu.
