JustBlogged is a hosted blogging platform for publishing an independent public blog on a custom domain. The company describes it as a home for independent writing, with hosting, HTTPS, themes, and SEO tools handled for the writer. The Free plan has no trial expiry and requires no credit card, and each account can create up to five free blogs.
The platform is built around one job: publishing a blog. Its own site says that anyone building a store, course platform, or paid membership business will need tools designed for those jobs. The founder, Usama, says he built JustBlogged after growing tired of managing plugins, hosting, and server work for a blog that still felt slow.
After signing up, a writer creates a blog from the dashboard, enters its name, chooses an available subdomain such as yourname.justblogged.com, selects a theme, and starts a draft. Posts are written in the built-in editor, where the title, slug, featured image, collection, tags, metadata, and publication time can be reviewed before publishing.
Hosting and delivery are maintained by JustBlogged, so there are no plugins to install and no servers to manage. To use a custom domain, the writer opens Settings, Domain, adds the domain, and sets the DNS records the dashboard shows. HTTPS is provisioned automatically once those records resolve correctly.
The editor handles headings, lists, quotes, links, images, and code without HTML. Drafts can be saved, published immediately, or scheduled. Collections, tags, and pages organize the archive, and a reusable image library keeps uploads in one place. Seven built-in themes, including Linen, Tribune, and Obsidian, cover essays, visual stories, and technical writing, and posts stay in place when the theme changes.
SEO is built in: editable titles and descriptions, social preview images, canonical URLs, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, structured data, and RSS feeds. For automation, MCP lets a compatible AI assistant work with real drafts and posts, and a REST API with revocable keys supports scripts. Both are included on the Free plan.
