Pakasir is a payment collection service built for Indonesian merchants who want to start accepting online payments quickly. Instead of applying directly to a bank or payment gateway (a process that can take two weeks or more), merchants sign up with Pakasir and can begin accepting payments within 1-3 days. Payments are accepted through QRIS (Indonesia's unified QR payment standard) and virtual accounts issued by partner banks including BRI, BNI, CIMB Niaga, Maybank, ATM Bersama, BNC, Artha Graha, Permata, and Sampoerna. Funds are held and processed by a Bank Indonesia-licensed payment gateway partner, and the service is operated by the registered entity PT. Geksa. Merchants can integrate Pakasir either by redirecting customers to a hosted payment link (URL-based, no code required) or through a direct API that creates and manages transactions, with webhook notifications for real-time status updates. Ready-made plugins are available for WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, and FluentCart, plus a community-maintained Node.js SDK.

Key Features

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Fast onboarding — merchants can start accepting payments in 1-3 days instead of 14+ days for a direct gateway application
  • No subscription or registration fees — merchants only pay per-transaction fees
  • Multiple integration options: no-code hosted payment links, a direct API, and ready-made WooCommerce/EDD/FluentCart plugins
  • Supports both QRIS and a wide range of Indonesian bank virtual accounts in one platform
  • Next-day settlement and withdrawals processed even on weekends and holidays

Cons

  • Focused on the Indonesian market only — payment methods (QRIS, local bank VAs) are not usable for merchants outside Indonesia
  • Pricing page and documentation are primarily in Indonesian, which may be a barrier for non-Indonesian-speaking users
  • No published subscription/enterprise plan tiers — pricing is transaction-fee based only, which may not suit very high-volume merchants seeking negotiated flat rates
  • Some integrations (e.g. Easy Digital Downloads, FluentCart plugins) are distributed as GitHub zip downloads rather than through official marketplace listings
