TapGoods PRO is cloud-based rental management software. The company positions it as an all-in-one system that brings quotes, inventory, dispatch, payments, contracts and a customer-facing website into one place, so rental teams stop switching between separate tools for billing, quoting and inventory.
It is sold in versions for party and event rental companies and for tool and equipment rental companies. The site also has pages for other rental types, including tent rentals, restroom trailers, DJs and entertainment, event venues, event design and production, home staging, floral design, gaming rentals and technology.
A rental order starts as a quote, which can carry an expiration date, tax and delivery calculations, and custom proposals. The customer signs the contract electronically, and the signed copy is stored with the order in the cloud. Deposits can be collected and cards stored on file, and invoices can be sent from the same system.
Inventory and orders are tracked by date and time, so availability reflects what is already committed. After an order is booked, the routing feature, integrated with Google Maps, plans delivery routes, and automated emails such as reminders and confirmations can trigger from the order timeline. Customers can also book through a portal or the optional storefront.
Inventory management includes overbooking prevention, item bundles, soft holds, subrental management, multilocation inventory and maintenance scheduling. Higher tiers add barcoded or serialized inventory: up to 100 items on Grow, and unlimited on Scale and Enterprise. Warehouse tools include a picklist manager, roles, customizable permissions and late change notifications.
For delivery, TapGoods offers routing, proof of delivery and multi-truck assignment. Reporting covers Profitability, Revenue by Contact and Item History, with custom reports, NPS surveys, TapWise AI Insights and Power BI reports on higher tiers. Enterprise customers can also use API and webhooks, and custom configuration.

TapGoods says most rental businesses complete onboarding in 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the package and catalog complexity. Onboarding packages cost $1,250 (Simple), $4,500 (Growth) and $15,000 (Legacy).
The Launch plan at $19/mo and the Simple onboarding package are aimed at smaller or newer rental businesses. Launch limits you to 30 items, so growing inventories will likely need the Grow or Scale plan.
