Teacher Planner is an online lesson planner built for teachers whose weeks change. It gives each teacher one planbook for classes, lessons, units, and standards, and it runs in the browser. Plans are saved to an account, so they are available again on any device when the teacher returns.
Alongside the planner, the product includes AI tools for drafting classroom materials, such as lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, rewritten text, and writing feedback. The company is clear about scope: it focuses on organizing teaching plans and preparing materials, and it does not replace a school's LMS or gradebook.
Setup begins with an import. A teacher uploads a photo or PDF of a fixed weekly timetable, and Teacher Planner reads the classes, days, and times. The teacher reviews the result before saving it. Timetable grids and plain lists are supported, but A/B rotations and whole-school timetables are not currently supported for import.
After that, lessons can be planned by day, week, or month, with objectives, activities, and notes kept together. When a lesson has to move, Bump Forward shifts it and keeps the following lessons in sequence. The plan can then be printed from the browser or saved as a PDF.
On the planning side, the main views are Day, Week, Month, Unit Timeline, and Outline. Unit Timeline shows the plan as units across a term, while Outline lists every lesson in order. Standards Tracker is available on Pro and Lifetime. Printing offers Classic, Minimal, and Cards templates for day, week, month, and outline layouts.
The AI tools include a Lesson Plan Generator, Worksheet Generator, Multiple Choice Quiz Generator, Vocabulary Quiz Maker, Text Rewriter, and Writing Feedback. Teachers can supply existing text, reading passages, assignment details, or feedback criteria as context, then edit the draft and save it, copy it, download it as text, or print it.
