TeacherMatic review: AI generators for teachers, leaders and admin staff. Free plan, Professional from £6.99/month, plus LMS integrations.

TeacherMatic is an AI platform built for people who work in education. It offers more than 150 generators that produce first drafts of lesson plans, quizzes, feedback, reports, policies, job descriptions, emails and promotional materials. The tools are grouped by role, so a teacher, a college leader, a quality officer and an HR administrator each see tasks relevant to their work.
The product is run by Innovative Learning Technologies LTD, trading as TeacherMatic, based in London. The concept was established in 2022, the product launched in March 2023, and it joined Avallain in March 2024. The company says more than 300 educators gave feedback during development and that it now serves over 350 organisations worldwide.
Its stated position is that AI should support professional judgement rather than replace it. The FAQ is explicit that outputs are drafts which the teacher must check, correct and make their own.
Each generator is a structured form. The user enters a topic or task and, in many cases, extra modifiers such as the level of schooling. TeacherMatic then builds the query that is sent to the underlying AI model and returns a draft in a format suited to the task. The FAQ describes the generators as front ends that remove the need for users to write complex prompts.
The company says it spent many hours tuning each generator so output comes back in the right format and at a usable quality. A blog post on the homepage also mentions multi-model AI validation, though the sources give no detail on how it works.
After generation, users review and edit the draft, then export it. Professional users can also save generations and configure them to their needs. The company says drafts can cut the time to produce a new resource by up to 80%, with the teacher still responsible for checking accuracy.
The core feature is the library of more than 150 generators across teaching, leadership, administration, HR, marketing and quality assurance. Role-based groupings make it easier to find the right tool, and modifiers let users tune output to the age and level of learners. Professional plans include the PowerPoint generator and the full Feedback generator.
Export is a major strength. Virtually every generator exports to Word, PDF, Google Drive and Google Classroom. Quiz generators export to Google Forms, Moodle GIFT, Canvas QTI, Kahoot, Wayground, Blooket, Gimkit, Blackboard, Brightspace and Vevox.
For institutions, TeacherMatic supports LTI 1.1 and 1.3, a Moodle plugin, a Canvas app, and Microsoft or Google sign-in. A Language Teaching Edition adds CEFR/ACTFL alignment and support for German, Spanish and French alongside English.
