Billbee is a cloud-based multichannel software for small and medium-sized online sellers. It brings orders, documents, inventory, shipping and analytics from several stores and marketplaces into one central account, so sellers manage everything in a single place instead of switching between systems.
The product is made by Billbee GmbH, officially founded in 2015. Its roots go back to 2009, when the founder, Jan, wrote invoices and shipping labels by hand for his wife's shop on the DaWanda platform and built a small tool called Rechnungsdruck. That tool is the predecessor of today's Billbee.
The company says more than 20,000 online sellers in the DACH region use it. Billbee is part of the comrce software hub, alongside Replyco, Amainvoice and VentoryOne.
Sellers create an account, connect their online stores, marketplaces, shipping carriers and other tools, and Billbee starts importing orders. Once orders arrive in the central hub, they can be processed manually or automatically, depending on how much of the workflow the seller wants to hand over.
The automation engine uses if-then rules. A typical chain after a paid order creates the invoice in the seller's branding, emails it to the customer, generates a shipping label with a carrier such as DHL or DPD, optionally prints it, and reports the tracking number back to the marketplace.
The same rules cover other situations, such as sending a French email template to customers in France, tagging express orders as urgent, or generating a customs declaration when the delivery country is outside the EU.
Order handling centers on automatic import from channels like Amazon, Shopify and eBay, payment reconciliation, and status reporting back to the stores. Document features create invoices, packing slips and other documents, and prepare accounting data for an accounting firm, for example through a DATEV export.
Inventory management syncs stock levels across connected channels to help prevent overselling. Sellers can set minimum stock levels, receive low stock alerts, get reorder suggestions based on the last 30 days of sales, and have products set to inactive on marketplaces when stock reaches zero.
Shipping covers labels for major carriers and automatic tracking transmission. Reporting tracks revenue and orders and shows which products and sales platforms are most profitable, along with top sellers and customer behavior.
