Enhancv is an online resume builder for job seekers, with a focus on experienced professionals and executives. It combines an AI resume writer, ATS checking, and one-click job tailoring in one tool, and it also covers cover letters, a job application tracker, interview preparation, and an AI job search. The company is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and lists 5,365 reviews on Reviews.io.
Its stated approach is that the best resumes feel human. Enhancv builds the resume from the user's own experience, offers templates for fields such as finance, healthcare, software, and design, and says every template is tested against the major Applicant Tracking Systems and reviewed by Certified Professional Résumé Writers.
Users start by choosing a template, or by uploading an existing resume or pasting a LinkedIn profile, which Enhancv turns into a structured draft. They then edit in a builder with more than 20 sections, including Experience, Skills, Summary, Education, Certifications, and Projects, and can customize fonts, colors, and layouts.
For each application, the user pastes a job ad and picks three to five qualifications. Enhancv proposes rewrites to the headline, summary, and bullets, highlights each change without applying it automatically, and lets the user accept or reject changes one by one or all at once. A job match score then shows missing keywords and other gaps.
The AI assistant takes plain-language requests to write, edit, and improve content, with suggestions grounded in the user's real experience. Other tools include an AI skills finder, resume translation into 30+ languages with formatting preserved, and Improve Text, which flags weak wording, repetition, and missing numbers and inserts placeholders rather than invented figures.
Around the resume sit several job search tools: a resume checker with 27 checks, an AI cover letter generator, a job application tracker with reminders and a Chrome extension, AI interview help with likely questions and STAR stories, and an AI job search that covers 1M+ live job ads for PRO users.
