MoveBoard by Elromco is all-in-one software and CRM for local and long-distance moving companies in the United States and Canada. One subscription covers leads, instant online quotes, online booking, a customer portal, dispatch, an electronic bill of lading, invoices, storage billing, payroll, claims and more than 70 reports.
Elromco, Inc. is based in Canton, Massachusetts, and has made moving software since 2015. The company says more than 600 moving companies use MoveBoard and lists a 4.7 rating from 22 reviews on Capterra. Its founders came from the moving industry, and the product is built around how moving offices and crews work.
How does MoveBoard work?
A job starts as a lead from a website quote form, a lead provider such as Angi or HomeAdvisor, the customer portal, or a call the AI Receptionist answered. The lead appears on the Orders page, gets scored Cold, Warm or Hot, and goes to a salesperson by the company's assignment rules.
MoveBoard prices the quote from the company's own rates, crews, trucks and fuel. The customer books, signs and pays a deposit online. Dispatch assigns a crew, who confirm from their phones and complete the bill of lading in the Mover's Portal. Payroll and commissions are then worked out from the closing.
Key features of MoveBoard
The CRM side includes a five-stage workflow from New lead to Booked, 17 statuses, follow-up tasks and automatic emails and texts. On the operations side, dispatch shows every truck by day, the trip planner handles long-distance loads, and crew tracking shows live and historical locations. The Mover's Portal keeps working with no signal.
Financial tools include deposits, cards on file, pay links, storage billing, payroll with tip splitting and claims handling. Ed, an AI assistant included in every plan, answers questions from the company's own data. The AI Receptionist answers calls, prices the move and creates the lead, with the recording and summary filed on the order.
Key Features
Orders, leads and lead scoring — Leads from website forms, the AI Receptionist, Angi and the customer portal land in a five-stage workflow from New lead to Booked, scored Cold, Warm or Hot, with assignment rules that give each lead one salesperson.
Instant online quotes and booking — A pricing engine uses the company's own rates, crews, fuel and minimums. Customers get quotes on the company website, then sign, pay a deposit and build an inventory in their own portal without creating an account.
Calendar and dispatch — Dispatchers drag crews onto jobs on a board showing every truck by day. Crews confirm from their phones and customers receive an ETA. Crew tracking shows live and historical locations.
Mover's Portal and electronic bill of lading — Crews work from a phone browser, finish the bill of lading, collect payment on the spot and keep working with no signal, with changes sent when the phone reconnects.
Invoices, payments and storage billing — Deposits, cards on file, pay links and payments on the bill of lading, plus recurring storage bills with units, tenants and autopay.
Payroll and commissions — Hours, commissions and tips are worked out from the closing, with tips split across the crew.
AI Receptionist — Answers every call, missed calls only, or after-hours calls, asks the estimate questions, prices the move and creates the lead, with a recording, transcript and summary filed on the order.
Ed, the AI assistant — Included in every plan. Answers questions from the company's own orders, schedule and numbers, and sends texts, emails and tasks after the user confirms.
Reports and claims — More than 70 reports with clickable numbers, plus a claims workflow from the customer's claim link to the payout.
Messages, calls, mail and workflows — Two-way texts, recorded calls and email are filed on each order, and workflows send emails and texts automatically after a set status.
