Nuvio is a finance operations platform for founders and small business owners who do not have a finance team. It brings invoicing, expense tracking, bank transactions, cash flow projection and an AI assistant into one connected system, replacing the mix of spreadsheets, banking apps and inbox receipts many small companies rely on.
The company says more than 1,200 founders and small business owners use it and that they cut financial admin time by 60% on average. It contrasts itself with traditional accounting software, which it says records what already happened, while Nuvio aims to run the work going forward.
Users connect their bank accounts and Nuvio pulls in every transaction, which can be reconciled with one click. For expenses, a receipt or invoice is uploaded or forwarded as a JPG, PNG or PDF up to 5 MB. The AI reads it, finds the supplier and amount, applies tax and a category, then asks the user to confirm.
Invoices are created and sent inside Nuvio, and the platform sends reminders for those that go unpaid. The Nuvio Assistant sits on top of this data. Users ask questions such as which customers owe money or what their runway is, and it can also act on a request, for example by sending a reminder.
Nuvio ships premade dashboards for profit and loss and for revenue by customer, by product and by project, so users do not build pivot tables or formulas. A cash flow projection looks up to one year ahead to show tight months in advance, and payment and collection tracking shows what has been paid and what is late.
Other capabilities depend on the plan: project financials, integrated bank accounts, multiple currencies and AI Assistant credits arrive on higher tiers. Nuvio cites 95% invoice scan accuracy for its scanner. Financial ratio dashboards and financial reports are listed as coming soon for Enterprise.
