Syncible is a UK-focused SaaS platform that automatically syncs ecommerce orders into accounting software in real time. It connects Shopify or WooCommerce stores to Xero or QuickBooks so that every order becomes an invoice, every refund becomes a credit note, and every cancellation voids the matching invoice — with payments auto-recorded against the correct bank account.

Setup follows four steps: install the Syncible WooCommerce plugin or the Shopify app (about 2 minutes), authorize Xero or QuickBooks via OAuth without sharing passwords (about 1 minute), configure sales account, UK VAT tax classification and bank account mapping (about 2 minutes), then go live — the next store order posts to the accounting system within seconds.

Core features include UK VAT auto-coding (including zero-rated and EU reverse-charge handling) aimed at Making Tax Digital compliance, cost-of-goods (COGS) tracking with per-order cost bills, one-way or bidirectional stock/product sync, and a sync audit log with one-click retry for failed transactions.

Live connectors are Shopify↔Xero (an embedded Shopify app), WooCommerce↔Xero (a WordPress plugin) and WooCommerce↔QuickBooks; Shopify↔QuickBooks is in beta and Shopify↔Sage / WooCommerce↔Sage are listed as planned.

Syncible is offered on tiered pricing (Free through Enterprise) separately for Shopify and WooCommerce merchants, with a 14-day free trial on paid plans, no per-order fees, and cancel-anytime terms. The product is built and operated by WDI Ltd (Co. No. 09412463, England & Wales).

Key Features

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Orders sync to Xero or QuickBooks in near real time, with refunds automatically converted to credit notes and cancellations voiding invoices.
  • Free plan available for WooCommerce-to-Xero sync via the official WordPress.org plugin, with no order-volume cap and no card required.
  • Built-in UK VAT auto-coding (including zero-rated and EU reverse-charge handling) aimed at Making Tax Digital compliance.
  • Connects via OAuth to Xero/QuickBooks, so store owners never share accounting passwords and can disconnect anytime.
  • No per-order fees on any plan, plus a 14-day free trial on paid tiers.

Cons

  • Shopify's free tier is capped at 25 orders/month, unlike the uncapped WooCommerce free plan.
  • Sage integration for both Shopify and WooCommerce is listed as 'planned,' not yet live.
  • The Shopify-to-QuickBooks connector is still in beta.
  • Stock sync and COGS tracking require the Growth plan (£59/mo) or above; Enterprise pricing reaches £299/mo.
