Remindlo is a reminder platform that texts customers before a booked visit and when a service is due again. It is aimed at small service businesses that live on repeat customers, including garages, MOT testing stations, dental practices, salons, vets and accountants.
The company separates two jobs: protecting appointments that already exist, which is measured by how many booked spots go empty, and bringing customers back when a service falls due, measured by how many past customers return. Remindlo was created in 2025 by founder Peter Bednarek and reports more than 300 businesses using it.
Setup starts with a calendar. A business links Google Calendar, Outlook or iCloud, and Remindlo picks each customer's name and phone number out of the bookings. Businesses on paper can photograph the diary or upload a CSV, and contacts are read out for them.
Each trade then gets three ready-made campaigns: before the visit, after the visit, and when the customer is due back. Wording and timing can be changed whenever the owner likes. After that it runs in the background, and a monthly summary email shows what was sent.
The core is automatic SMS reminders, plus recurring reminders that track the next due date for MOTs, check-ups, boiler services and vaccinations and move it forward after every visit. Other campaign types cover thank-you notes, review requests and reactivation of customers who have not returned. Customers can text back, and replies land in the dashboard.
AI features include name recognition, which reads a customer's name from shorthand calendar entries and leaves it blank when unsure, with a marker showing the source entry. An AI scanner reads photos of paper diaries. Developers get a REST API, signed webhooks and a Zapier connection.
