Vrodex is a software platform for restaurants, retail shops and salons. It combines a point of sale, a booking system, online ordering, card payments and staff planning, so one business can run its day from a single set of connected tools instead of several separate apps.
The company says it began in 2020, when a friend's restaurant was paying 20% or more on every online order. The founders, Jeff and Rémy Vrolijk, built a commission-free ordering system, then added bookings, POS and payments over the following years.
Today Vrodex says restaurants, salons and retail businesses across Europe use it, from one café to a chain of shops. Its main pitch is a fixed monthly fee per tool, with no commission and no fee per guest.
Vrodex is a toolkit in which each tool can be used alone or alongside the others. A business picks the tools it needs, and the company states that customers pay only for the tools they switch on. Account setup takes a few minutes, with a setup wizard that walks through each step.
The tools share data. A floor plan drawn in Bookings is used to pick tables and can link guests to the POS. Online orders arrive on the POS and the kitchen screen the same way a server's order does, and the card reader pulls each bill from the POS and returns the payment result.
The software runs on devices the business already owns, such as an iPad, Android device, laptop or terminal. Vrodex also sells its own hardware, and the platform works with most tablets, printers and card readers.
The Point of Sale handles split bills and tables, works offline, sends orders to the kitchen and sells gift cards in store. Live stock and reports are included with no extra licence. The Bookings tool adds an advanced floor plan, table squeezing to fit more covers, deposits and prepayment, a waiting list and gift cards in the booking widget.
Reserve with Google lets guests book from Search and Maps, and Vrodex states that no commission is charged on these bookings. Online Orders provides a branded ordering page on the business's own domain, with a Thuisbezorgd link-in and Uber Eats listed as coming soon.
Payments accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Mollie. Staff Planning, currently in beta, covers availability, shift swaps, clocking in from the POS and payroll export. Loyalty, QR ordering, kiosk mode and accounting sync are announced for later.

Vrodex uses Mollie for payments, Reserve with Google for bookings and a Thuisbezorgd link-in for orders, with Uber Eats coming soon. It also lists Voys for telephony and KPN, Odido and VodafoneZiggo for internet.
It runs on iPad, Android, laptop or terminal and works with most tablets, printers and card readers. Vrodex hardware built for its tools is optional.
Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days' notice, and the site says there is no long-term contract or lock-in. The notice terms do not apply to multi-year contracts.
The company says it fits businesses from a salon at home to a large restaurant chain. Choosing single tools and a fixed monthly price suits smaller venues.
