Vuci is a podcast search and monitoring platform that calls itself the search engine for spoken ideas. It indexes episode transcripts and links every quote, statistic, company and person to the second it was said, so users can find a remark without remembering which show or episode it came from. Listeners, podcasters, brands and agencies use the same index at different scales.
The product is built by Reuben Ferrante, a founder and engineer who says he is building it in the open. He holds an MSc in Machine Learning and designed the interface in Figma first. He states a preference for human-spoken source material, with AI used to distill, connect and search it.
Vuci scans new episodes every day and maps each one into chapters, speakers, sponsor reads and individual insights, labeled as bits, quotes or snapshots. Each item links to a timestamp, and the built-in player jumps to that second. Topics group related bits across shows, and Deep Search runs a phrase across all of it.
Alerts add a monitoring layer. Users choose podcasts, keywords, companies, topics or people to watch, and Vuci listens, enriches and filters the results each day. A match arrives with the quote and timestamp attached. Research reports read many episodes on a subject and produce a brief in which claims link back to the exact quote.
Deep Search returns every word of every transcript to the exact second, with a relevance sort and a smart match option. Episode pages show chapters, key insights, data points, companies mentioned with counts, and the sponsorship landscape for each show. Spaces save a bit, quote, YouTube clip, Instagram reel or full episode in one searchable library that exports to Markdown or CSV.
Podcaster analytics cover talk time, episode lengths, topic trends, publishing activity and the most quotable episodes. Research reports export as PDF, Kindle or email. For developers, an MCP server exposes search_episodes, get_entity_trends, get_episode and get_podcast tools, and Spaces are reachable through an API. Creators can also offer a chat assistant trained on their own episodes.
